Set Up My iPhone and Transfer My Data

Keep your current iPhone and new iPhone next to each other during this process. Then, unlock your current iPhone to where you can see your main screen and make sure your new iPhone is turned on to the "Hello" screen.

Note: If necessary, make sure your current phone is operating at the most recent iOS release. To update your phone tap "Settings", "General" then tap "Software Update." Once your phone is up to date, follow the directions above.
