How do I reset all settings back to their factory defaults without wiping my phone?
If your iPhone is not working as expected, restoring all settings to the default may resolve your issues. This can be done without the need to erase your iPhone completely.
To reset the iPhone's factory settings, follow the steps below:
- From the main screen, tap the "Settings" icon.
- Tap "General."
- Tap "Transfer or Reset iPhone."
- Tap "Reset."
- Tap "Reset All Settings."
- You will need to enter your password and confirm that you would like to place all settings at their defaults.
